Quantum XChange® empowers leading government agencies and commercial enterprises to secure sensitive network data from advances in AI and quantum computing. Its cryptographic management platform, Phio TX®, provides an open, secure, and flexible architecture for the post-quantum world.
Quantum attacks will break today’s encryption, and post-quantum algorithms (such as NIST FIPS 203) are now required to stay ahead of future threats. Phio TX hardens your existing network infrastructure to prevent “Harvest Now, Decrypt Later” (HNDL) attacks and ensures a seamless transition to Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) without disrupting operations.
Support for Hybrid Deployment
Simple network overlay architecture supports PQC, QKD, QRNG or any combination in an environment. Extend the range of QKD and scale to thousands of nodes as needed.
No Pre-Shared Key Risks
Eliminate the risks from theft or compromise of pre-shared/static keys stored on endpoints or in the network. Phio TX uses ephemeral keys that are dynamically generated in memory and deleted after use, closing that vulnerability.
Industry Validated
Industry’s first FIPS 203 and FIPS 140-3 validated solution for government and regulated industries. NIST Entropy Source Validation for secure data transmission and eavesdropping prevention. EUCC L2 certification in process.
Dual Path Security
A strong symmetric key is created and travels out-of-band, independently from the encrypted data. Key and data separation protects against Harvest Now Decrypt Later (HNDL), man-in-the-middle/quantum attacks.
OPEN ECOSYSTEM & VENDOR INTEROPERABILITY
Seamless Integration with Your Existing Infrastructure
Phio TX leverages open, industry-standard protocols (such as ETSI QKD GS 014 and Cisco SKIP) to deliver vendor-agnostic key distribution.
Fully Compatible with Leading Network & Optical Transport Platforms:
- Optical Transport & DWDM: PacketLight Networks, Ciena, ADVA
- Routing & Firewalls: Cisco Systems, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, Juniper Networks, Arista
- High-Speed Encryption (HSE): Thales, Senetas, Rohde & Schwarz
USE CASE
QKD Relay
In this design the Phio TX Hive sits between the router and the QKD system. The router receives the symmetric key just as it was created by the by the QKD.
- Router receives same key that QKD returns.
- Same result as direct QKD request.
QKD Redundant Relay
This design also has the router receive the symmetric key just as it was created by the QKD system unless the QKD
is down or unreachable. If that happens Phio TX will automatically take over key generation allowing operations to
continue uninterrupted.
- Router receives same key that QKD returns except when QKD is down.
- If QKD is down, it auto switches to Phio TX key generation.
QKD Enhanced Hive
For this design Phio TX Hive handles key generation while QKD enhances Hive security and adds to the entropy pool. If QKD is down or unreachable Phio TX will continue with key generation.
- Key generated by Phio TX Hive.
- QKD enhances Hive security and add to the entropy pool.
- If QKD is down Phio TX can still generate keys.
