Network Packet brokers (NPB)

CGS’s Network Packet Brokers (NPBs) are high density powerful network visibility solutions that optimize the performance of cyber security and monitoring applications by providing the required data in the right volume and format. These NPBs are available in a range of port densities and rates, from 10Mbps to 400Gbps, with forwarding capacity ranging from 720Gbps to 12.8Tbps.

They support various 3rd party interface types, including Copper, DAC, and Optical, and come with a range of features such as aggregation, replication, filtering, dynamic load balancing, time stamping, packet slicing, header editing, GRE tunnel termination, stacking, and high availability.

The NPBs collect traffic from TAPs, SPAN ports, and bypass links, execute a variety of policies, and forward network traffic to security and performance controls. They can be deployed in-line or out of band and support management interfaces such as CLI, SNMP, WEB UI, NETCONF, and RESTCONF.
