Job Title: Client Acquisition – Sales

Job Description & Requirements:

The Role

As an individual contributor, your goal is to accelerate Starview’s growth in market share and revenue. You will have the experience and understanding of how to penetrate and grow client accounts by acquiring new customers that best fit Starview’s profile and gain new business, develop long term relationships especially through partnership engagements. Account planning, strategic selling skills, forecasting, and strong technical acumen are required for success in this position.

You enjoy meeting people, and developing deep customer relationships. We welcome people with experience in the hospitality and airline industries, where managing and meeting customer’s expectations are keys to success.

The person in this role will execute a sales strategy with an assigned account list, and growing this list with the addition of new customers. He/She will work closely with the engineering team to understand customer’s requirements, and develop solutions to best fit these requirements.

Responsibilities

• Managing assigned accounts – Identify and bring in new prospects/customers, new logos to the business

• Support and promote corporate strategy and initiatives

• Develop and execute area business plans

• Thoroughly qualify leads & sales opportunities

• Leverage business from new & established relationships

• Identify customer’s business needs, challenges and technical requirements and match to Starview solutions

• Strategize, negotiate & close business

• Exceed Quarterly/Annual assigned sales quota through strategic selling

• Establish executive engagement at “C” level and develop excellent client relationship at all levels of organization.

Requirement

• Minimum 2-5 years of experience selling technology solutions preferably in data center solution selling with at least 2-3 years in a channel development and/or channel sales role.

• Strong track record in successful accounts penetration

• Proven ability to work well as part of an extended sales team

• Proven experience selling large-scale solutions

• Good project management, problem solving, time-management, communication and presentation skills and able to work under pressure.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Job Title: Country Manager (Malaysia)

Job Description & Requirements:

The Role

You are expecting to head our Malaysia operations, and accelerate Starview’s newly setup entity in Malaysia.  As an experienced individual in channel sales and cloud, you are expected to leverage on your network of customers, partners and resellers, and develop long term relationships through partnership engagements.  Account planning, strategic selling skills, forecasting, and strong technical acumen are required for success in this position. As we build our revenue in Malaysia, you will hire high-performance team members to scale our growth.  

You are also expected to be familiar with compliance matters, eg type approvals, import regulations, and Malaysia’s SST, to provide advice to Starview’s finance and operational team.
