With diversity of data centre to create redundancy and resiliency, long distance 100G transceiver modules have gained popularity. Extended long-distance 100G module allows deployment of equipment in these data centre without costly repeater or equipment in between, thus reducing costs and complexity. Our 100G QSFP28 eZR4+ optical transceiver module offers an extended long-distance data transmission of up to 100km as well as to overcome high optical fiber loss up to 34dB!

To ensure compatibility with existing infrastructure, our 100G QSFP28 eZR4+ uses the matured 4 x 25G optical and electrical non-return to zero (NRZ) modulation. The 4 x 25G operates on LWDM (1295nm, 1300nm, 1305nm, 1310nm) wavelengths to minimize chromatic dispersion, and the high-power transmitter minimizes signal-to-noise ratio (SNR). With an integrated Semiconductor Optical Amplifier (SOA) built into the receiver, it allows compensation to attenuation and long-distance transmission.

The 100G QSFP28 eZR4+ is compact and consumes lesser power than the combination of an optical module and an amplifier module. There is no need to install, tune, and manage external equipment. Hence fewer components mean faster, easier deployment and maintenance.
When plugged into a QSFP28 cage of a device, it provides 100Gbps data rate with extended long-distance reach. Due to its extended long-range capability, it consumes up to 6.5W power from the QSFP28 cage. To ensure functionality of the module, it is recommended to check the maximum power for the QSFP28 cage of the device you intend to use, or you can contact sales@starviewtech.net for recommendations.
