The FE-SFP-SAC Media Converter is an inexpensive, no-frills way to extend the 10/100 ethernet distance between connections with different speeds, while maintaining the same quality and reliability of the transmission. It features capability to switch between twisted pair and optical fiber across 10/100Base-TX and 100Base-FX.
Depending on the SFP module used in the media converter, it is capable to achieve high-speed long-distance interconnection over fiber. Its high reliability is useful for interconnecting various broadband data networks.
